COMPREHENSIVE MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

Many therapists reach a point where they want more than another massage routine.

They want to deepen their knowledge, develop specialist skills, and build a practice that clients actively seek out.

Manual lymphatic drainage played a huge role in transforming my own business and how I supported my clients.

This comprehensive diploma is designed to give you the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to introduce manual lymphatic drainage into your own practice.

For healthcare providers and therapists.

You wont just learn a routine, you'll learn how to think like a lymphatic therapist.

Next practical training date:

1st November 2026 | Burntisland, Fife

Lymphatic drainage isn't new..

But the demand for it is growing.

You might be seeing it more online.

More clients asking for it.
More conversations around swelling, inflammation and recovery.

And while it may feel like a “trend”…

This work has been used for decades.

The difference now is awareness.

More people are starting to understand that how the body moves fluid matters.

And they’re actively looking for therapists who can support them with it.

But this is where the gap is.

Not in demand.

But in therapists who feel confident working in this area.

Many have heard of lymphatic drainage.

Fewer understand how to apply it properly.

Because it’s often taught as something simple…

When in reality, it requires:

• understanding
• precision
• and clinical awareness

And that’s exactly what this training is designed to give you.

Meet your educator

I'm Carol Anne, a therapist, clinic owner, mentor and international educator with over 20 years' experience in the therapy industry.

Throughout my career, I've worked in luxury spas, managed teams, trained therapists internationally, and built a specialist lymphatic clinic supporting thousands of clients. But the experiences that have shaped me most have come from treating real people.

When I first trained in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, I learnt the techniques, the sequence and the routine. But as I began applying it in practice, I quickly realised that real clients didn't always fit neatly into what I'd been taught. That curiosity led me to study further, ask better questions, and develop a much deeper understanding of the lymphatic system and the role it plays in health, healing and recovery. It also changed the way I practised.

What began as a small clinic in a garden room has grown into a specialist lymphatic clinic and post-graduate training academy, built on one simple belief: Understanding is more important than memorising. That's why I created this training.

Not simply to teach you a treatment sequence, but to help you understand the why behind every technique, think critically, adapt your treatments to the client in front of you, and build the confidence that comes from genuine understanding. Because when you stop memorising routines and start understanding the body, you don't just become better at Manual Lymphatic Drainage.

You become a better therapist.

A Different Standard of Training

This is post-graduate level education. Designed for therapists and healthcare professionals who already understand the body and want to deepen their knowledge of the lymphatic system.

A minimum of Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology is required.

Not as a box-ticking exercise. But because it allows us to teach at a different level, we don't need to revisit basic anatomy, we don't need to simplify concepts. Instead, we can focus on understanding how the lymphatic system functions in practice and how to apply that knowledge with confidence.

You'll learn:

• how the lymphatic system functions beyond the textbook

• how fluid moves and why it sometimes doesn't

• how to work with pathways, not just follow routines

• how to adapt your treatment to the client in front of you

You'll be learning alongside other therapists who already have the foundations in place and are ready to build on them. No unnecessary filler. No oversimplification. Just practical, clinically relevant education designed to help you become a more knowledgeable and confident therapist.
